Perhaps the "don" in "Groudon" stands for the Japanese ドンッ (''don'') which is an onomatopoeia for a crash? (Considering that Groudon can create earthquakes by slamming its feet onto the ground, they would make the "don" sound) Just wondering. [[User:Ztobor|Ztobor]] 04:37, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

== HG/SS Japanese Text ==
I notice that the Japanese text here is not translated like in most/all of the other Pokémon pages. I would do this, but I don't speak japanese and I know Google translator can be very iffy when translating more than a word or two. If someone could do this, that would be great.[[User:Poisson14|Poisson14]] 02:11, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
