I was wondering ...

I've noticed on other TM/HM articles, if there are a lot of Pokémon that know the titled move, it simply says Many Pokémon that can learn TMs/HMs can use this move (Sunny Day is a perfect example of this). Since so many Pokémon appear to know Grass Rope, I was wondering if it would be easier to do that than to enter every single Pokémon's name in the article. --PAK Man 00:57, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Well, unless a select few cannot learn the move, for example 5, I wouldn't change the list because at the moment it tels visitors exactly what Pokémon can learn the attack, therefore being very informative. I can't seem to re-word this so try to understand. Tesh 22:29, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Did you know that...

...Torterra, Infernape, and Empoleon are the only set of starters that can all learn this move?

picture

anyone have a better picture? seems like the one currently up is a bit of a joke.. considering haunter's typing and weight >.< Sylari 03:32, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

I don't see how that matters...just because this particular Grass Knot will do no significant damage doesn't make it a worse picture for it.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 03:55, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
it's a bit of a silly picture because it's the worst possible position to use that move.. and it's the least possible damage any move can do other than 0...- unsigned comment from Sylari (talkcontribs)
So what if it's a bad situation to use the move in? It shows Grass Knot in action. That's all that's necessary. There's nothing wrong with the image.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 03:35, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Would you be happier if someone had a picture of it being used on Groudon? Does that make enough sense, even though the picture is only to show part of the move's animation? Diachronos 16:39, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Triple Battle

Can this move really hit anyone in a triple battle? I was under the impression that only most Flying moves and Aura/Pulse moves could do this. LimeGreenCharizard 11:46, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

No. Many move pages still have wrong target info.--Den Zen 11:48, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
So I can pretty much assume that, unless it's one of the moves I mentioned above, it's wrong? LimeGreenCharizard 11:54, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
Yes, only moves that are in the light gray table here can hit any other Pokémon.--Den Zen 12:00, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
I've just checked with my Sawsbuck and yes, Grass Knot can hit anyone in a triple battle. I have a screenshot to prove it. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 07:25, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
Well, this sucks. This means there are probably a lot of other moves that do the same that we don't know about. ...I guess I have some work to do. LimeGreenCharizard 10:32, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
No, no it doesn't. I just checked. Was your Sawsbuck in the middle, by chance? Thanks for the heart attack. LimeGreenCharizard 10:43, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
Yes it was, I meant to correct myself but I forgot hahaha. My bad. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 11:25, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Protean STAB

Should it be mentioned that the Froakie evolution line can get STAB thanks to Protean? Yamitora1 (talk) 23:33, 16 March 2014 (UTC)
