Should it be mentioned that this is the first generation to receive remakes but not to receive updated art from Ken Sugimori for all the Pokémon introduced in the original games? When FRLG came out Gen I Pokémon we got new art, and when HGSS came out Gen II Pokémon got new art. Outside of maybe one or two Pokémon and not counting Megas, We've not gotten any official art to replace the original Gen III art.
