Acording to this trivia:

This episode is an homage to ''Seven Samurai'', later adapted in the U.S. as ''The Magnificent Seven''. A village is threatened by thieves, and a handful of warriors are asked to save the village. The warriors teach the villagers to fight and lay traps, then together they defend the village when the invaders come.

How about something like this as a Trivia point?
