Signature Move?

Should it be added that in Gen III this was Zangoose's signature move, since he was the only one to learn it via level-up? Or does it not count since it could be passed on via egg move to other Pokémon? PhantomJunkie 14:03, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Egg Move Fathers

In the Gen.3 learnset, Cyndaquil has both the Swinub and Torchic lines included, but neither are shown as able to learn it. Do those Pokémon need adding or removing from fathers? Mattrules161 14:48, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Looks to me like a copypaste error from when fathers were first implemented. Interesting that it lasted so long. I've removed the Pokémon that can't learn it, and trimmed the lists down to just the shortest path. Thanks for pointing it out. Werdnae (talk) 21:01, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Trivia

Is it worth noting that this move, along with only 7 others, has a 50% chance of a secondary effect happening? And that 6 of them are, or at least have been (Crush Claw), signature moves? --LimeGreenCharizard-- 15:02, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

Not really, since moves with 5%, 40%, 70% or 100% effect chances are all less common than those with 50% chance.--Den Zen 15:15, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
Okay. Well, I just was researching odds of secondary effects, and the only really notable ones turn out to be 40% and 70%... unless there are ones with 5% I missed. The site I was using had a list on one page where I could Ctrl+F to search, but might have some wrong information (Like Leaf Tornado has a 50% instead of 30%). --LimeGreenCharizard-- 15:29, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
Whoops, I remembered Ancientpower and its variations have only a 5% chance.--Den Zen 15:42, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
