Question
I have this card, but the card border is gold, and the rarity is ☆. The set number and everything are exactly the same, only the gold border and rarity are different. I actually found a similar picture on Amazon [1], although mine doesn't have the EX Power Keepers stamp. The page says it's a "parallel foil," what is that? It would be helpful to at least say that there's a variant or something, I guess. Were these maybe the predecessor to "secret cards?"KyuremsIceBlade 22:35, 7 March 2013 (UTC)

i'm new but happen to also have this card. i don't mean to bring old threads back from the dead, but i happen to have this picture, and would enjoy hearing about it, if possible. i think it's a fake card. but like i said, i'm new so i am not a great judge. it feels right, but the border isn't straight. something seems a bit off about it.

- The issue I have with this card is that it has the qualities of a reverse foil EXCEPT for the Power Keepers stamp. That tells me that it is fake. MaverickNate 03:41, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
ok thanks. explaining the fake thing to our 6 year old is tough. he also has an altaria that has a misspelling and says it evolves from loudred. i just wasn't aware that there were so many "realistic" fakes. i suppose i just need to learn more and filter them out before he sees them lol.
