Items received

The list of items received in this article is currently not accurate -- I got different (but similar, e.g. Protein instead of HP Up) items from what the list shows. So, I think there are different sets of items depending on the floor (e.g. vitamins on certain floors, feathers on others, etc.), and the item that you receive is random every time you beat it. At least, it makes sense to me. It ought to be fixed... --Blaziken257 18:09, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Unreachable location

Does anybody notice how the Unova map location shows the standard BW instead of B2W2? The Black Tower isn't in the original BW. Same for the White Treehollow. Darkrer (talk) 01:18, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

It'll work for now. It's better than nothing, right? --Abcboy (talk) 01:23, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
I added in a simple edit. Not much, but something. If I can get a high enough resolution with a camera, I'll upload it to Bulbagarden Archives. --Darkrer (talk) 01:45, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
Did you notice that we have those maps at standardized locations? It should've been at "File:Unova Black Tower White Treehollow Map.png", not there. Did you add it to White Treehollow too? --Abcboy (talk) 02:14, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

Benga rematches

I've definitely re-faced Benga here (Four times now!). I think Janna might only apply to people who are doing White Treehollow after beating Benga at Black Tower. Or maybe it's version-dependant? I can't test this at all, though, so I'm leaving this here. -- Trainer Hunter -- 12:37, 28 October 2012 (UTC)

It's got to be if you use the Tower Key to trigger Black Tower in White 2 that you face her. I've battled Benga four times too. --The Great Butler (talk) 05:36, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

What does this line mean?

"Once he is defeated, the player will always battle the other trainer in either facility." I can't figure out what its trying to say. PowerPlantRaichu (talk) 23:53, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

How is it now? --Abcboy (talk) 00:06, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

Pokedex

If you see a Pokemon in here, is it added to the Pokedex, or does it work like the Battle Subway and ignore that you saw it?--Chris Broach (talk) 20:38, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

To answer my own question, it seems not to count pokemon in Black Tower (so I would assume White Treehollow as well). I Have beaten the entire tower, and I don't have some of the Pokemon I fought listed (namely, Articuno) in my Pokedex.--Chris Broach (talk) 22:24, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

Fixed odd wording.

This sentence "must first defeat the Boss Trainer after defeating the Gate Trainer" is very odd. So I removed part of it to read "the player must first defeat the Gate Trainer, who will unlock the Boss Trainer's room." PowerPlantRaichu (talk) 04:07, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

Gate Trainer

From a few runs just of Area 1, I've come to the conclusion that any trainer on the level can be the Gate Trainer, and it is randomly determined upon entering (with a few exceptions, as Sergeo will always be the Gate Trainer on the player's first visit to Area 1). There is also a decent amount of information missing from this page, such as trainers and potential rewards (I got a Calcium from Area 1, which is not listed, and fought an unlisted trainer named Lass Minne, who opened the gate). Trainers

After going through the entire Tower once and several data-collecting runs through Area 1 only, I've concluded that the way we were presenting Trainers (individual teams of 2 Pokemon) was highly misleading. Trainers can have any two Pokemon in their pool, in any combination, and it seems their genders and levels are randomized as well. Since so much of this variable information is necessary for the template we were using — and since several, possibly all, pools have much more than six Pokemon, and I'm not sure this template is designed for more than six — this template is clearly inadequate.

As far as I see, we have two options: either display the Trainers using a different template, or don't include the non-Boss Trainers at all (which we do on the Battle Tower/Battle Frontier articles). I'm not usually one for intentionally leaving out information like this, but given the massive amount of information that only randomly displays itself in-game (making it impossible to make sure we have everything, as well as making it impossible to verify whether another person's addition is true or false), I think leaving out the non-Boss Trainers altogether is the better path for this article. Thoughts?

As I don't have White 2 and thus can't confirm that it's the same, I didn't make any of the associated changes to White Treehollow, but I think everything probably works the same in that version, too, with the exception being that the Trainer classes that appear seem to be version-dependent. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 23:13, 27 May 2013 (UTC)

Since it sounds like it's similar to the Battle Frontier in how trainers are handled, it's probably better to only list boss trainers. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 23:16, 27 May 2013 (UTC)

EVs

Do you get EVs in the tower like experience? Grass is the best (talk) 03:34, 3 July 2013 (UTC)

I don't see why not. Every other kind of battle in the franchise either gives both or neither. If this gave out one without the other, we'd probably have heard about it by now. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 04:00, 3 July 2013 (UTC)

Beating Benga

Shouldn't it be mentioned someplace that when you beat Benga, you will receive a shiny Gible the next time you meet Benga at Alder's house?--Astromath (talk) 02:54, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
