I haven't seen the episode Gligar evolved into Gliscor, but reading the description about the event (the Pokémon diving to save Ash from a fall) reminded me of how [[Ash's Charizard|Charizard]] evolved from Charmeleon in the episode with the Ancient Pokémon.
