So in JN025 Dragonite used Dragon Dance to create a spinning defense against Korrina's Mienshao's attack. Do we call that a Counter-Shield?

Did I get it right. Also, why was the extra info i did on Dragonite was wrong? I don't understand proven to be extremely resilient pokemon to take on mega evolution pokemon and the pokemon earlier. This is what you wrote: "Dragonite was able to withstand most of its opponent's attacks and defeated in the end." It's this kind of wording that puzzles me and forces me to revert it because I don't know what you're trying to communicate. Was Dragonite defeated? Or did it defeat its opponent? You are right. I'm sorry that my grammar is awful. I can't improve it at all. It's my own problems to deal with. I'm trying to say, Dragonite was able to withstand most of its opponent's attacks proven its resilience was very high that was enough to defeat both opponents. What you mean? I don't understand. Dragonite just focuses on the battle, didn't seem ti knew it won the battle as it was still had its eyes forward and serious appearance on the battle. Hyper Beam in debut episode

A Dragonite used Hyper Beam on TR in Dragonair's debut episode, right after it evolved. But there were two Dragonite. The shot was weirdly cut. Since Ash's Dragonite knows Hyper Beam would it be safe to say that it was Ash's Dragonite that attacked TR, thus moving Hyper Beam's debut date from Episode 25 to Episode 10?--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 11:36, 24 June 2020 (UTC)

Dragonite's Gender

I don't know how accurate the subtitles are supposed to be and I don't speak Japanese, but I did notice in the subtitles for yesterday's episode (JN131) that when Dragonite got speed lowered from Drum Beating, Diantha remarks "Her speed dropped", according to the subtitles. Can someone who speaks and understands Japanese actually confirm if that was exactly what was said? Torpoleon (talk) 17:02, 5 November 2022 (UTC)

No gender was mentioned, she just remarked that Dragonite's speed is down. This is another case of subbers taking liberties and adding genders when no gender was spoken.--ForceFire 08:33, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
