Release information

This card was included in the EX Dragon expansion, first released in the Japanese Rulers of the Heavens expansion. It was later included in POP Series 2, the EX Dragon Frontiers expansion and the Japanese Flygon Constructed Starter Deck, Salamence Constructed Starter Deck, Gift Box Emerald, Fire and Water Quick Construction Packs, Gift Box Mew • Lucario, and Shockwave! Tyranitar ex Constructed Standard Deck. It was reprinted in the Japanese Champion Road subset. A Full Art print was also released in the Japanese Champion Road subset and features artwork by nagimiso.

Trivia

Due to a printing error, very few of the parallel Holofoil version of the EX Dragon print were produced, making it a rather sought after card amongst collectors.

Origin

This card depicts Gabby and Ty, recurring characters who can be challenged to several Double Battles throughout the Hoenn region in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald and its remakes. After each battle, they would conduct a brief interview with the player, to be broadcast on TVs across Hoenn.
