SonicBoom (Japanese: ソニックブーム Sonic Boom) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.

Effect

Generation I

SonicBoom deals 20 damage, regardless of the user's type, the opponent's type, and any other effects. Template:Type2s are able to be hit by this move despite their usual immunity to Normal-type moves.

Generation II and on

Template:Type2 Pokémon are immune to SonicBoom.

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, this move does 55 damage instead of 20 damage.
