I know I might just be over thinking this, but in the third movie, when Brock, Misty, and Team Rocket save Ash from falling, Brock says "We won't let you fall!" while Misty says "We're like family too!". Could this just be coincidence, or a hint? I was thinking it might be a hint because Misty might have been so concerned about saving Ash that she slipped and hinted about her hopes of pursuing a possible relationship with Ash.
