Shadow Chill (Japanese: ダークフリーズ Dark Freeze) is one of several Shadow moves available only in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. Like other Shadow moves, it is forgotten and replaced with another move once the Pokémon is purified. It is Shadow Articuno's signature move.

Effect

Shadow Chill is a Shadow version of Ice Beam, and has a 10% chance of freezing the target.

As Shadow Pokémon cannot be traded, and since Pokémon Contests do not exist in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Shadow Chill cannot be used in Contests.
