Seviper (Japanese: ハブネーク Habunake) is a Poison-type Pokémon.

Special abilities
Seviper can create a horrible poison that it can channel through either the tail or fangs, quickly dispatching prey. Its tail is shaped like a long sharp blade.
Behavior
Seviper are bitter enemies with Zangoose, willing to battle them to the bitter end. It is suggested that this feud has lasted since the beginning of time.
Habitat
Unknown, though this Pokémon is found only found on Route 114, which suggests its habitat consists of grassy plains with sparse trees and mountains.
Diet

Aside from the standard dish of Pokémon food, it is suggested that Seviper is a predator, and being the snake that it is, it likely goes after small rodent, bird, bug Pokémon, or baby Pokémon, and possibly even unborn eggs.

Seviper first appeared in AG008. Jessie was so impressed by how it beat up Ash's Treecko, that she just had to capture it.
The Battle Pike Queen Lucy owns a Seviper. She used it to fight off Team Rocket and to battle Ash's Donphan in AG158.

- Seviper and Zangoose are eternal rivals. It counters a Zangoose's dazzling agility with its swordlike tail, which also oozes a horrible poison.
