Serebii.net or SPP is a fan site created by Serebii in the spring of 1999 when many Pokémon sites were starting to appear seemingly from out of nowhere. The site first gained popularity as a Geocities site, where it was also a member of the Articuno Island network.

It is a well known source for animé, Nintendo gaming and TCG information. The site currently is one of the most up-to-date Pokémon websites on the Internet as it is updated almost on a daily basis.
