Trivia
- Up until Generation V, only two non-Rock-type Pokémon could learn Rock Throw, but they are both related to Rock-types through evolution. Coincidentally, they were both released in Generation II.
- Rock Throw is the only physical Rock move with no secondary effect.
- If Secret Power is used on a rocky surface in Generation III, or in a cave or on a rocky surface in Generation IV, it will have the animation of Rock Throw.
