Ring Target

The Ring Target (Japanese: ねらいのまと Aim Target) is a type of held item introduced in Generation V. It removes the holder's type immunities to moves.

Effect

The holder loses its type immunities to moves. It does not affect other type-based immunities, such as Grass-type Pokémon being immune to powder and spore moves, but does make Ground-type Pokémon vulnerable to Thunder Wave.

Description

Games Description BWB2W2 Moves that would otherwise have no effect will land on the Pokémon that holds it. XYORAS SMUSUM SwSh An item to be held by a Pokémon. Moves that normally have no effect will land on a Pokémon holding it. SV An item to be held by a Pokémon. Moves that would normally have no effect due to type matchups will still hit the holder.
