Rage Powder (Japanese: いかりのこな Rage Powder) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

Rage Powder forces opposing Pokémon to attack the user rather than the intended target during Double and Triple battles. This is an increased priority move, and therefore will always go before attacks during the turn.

If the user's partner is switching out, Rage Powder will not divert an opponent from using Pursuit on its partner. Rage Powder does not stop the effects of moves which hit multiple Pokémon in a battle.

In triple battles, Rage Powder will draw the attacks of all adjacent opponents in the field. In addition, if a non-adjacent Pokémon uses a move which is able to hit non-adjacent Pokémon, (e.g. Aerial Ace, Air Slash) the Rage Powder user will draw that move to itself.

Description

Games Description
BW The user scatters a cloud of irritating powder to draw attention to itself. Opponents aim only at the user.
