Undo revision 3718644 by Bandana Hewer Dee (talk) BDSP keeping Pokerus but removing the Game Corner has nothing to do with each other. Game corners have been absent from remakes because promoting gambling in a video game automatically bumps the maternity rating to "Adult" or equivalent in several rating systems. It is no longer possible to include them without ESRB, PEGI, and other ratings rating the game as "mature".

→Trivia: this is a very big stretch especially considering BDSP had Pokérus but removed Game Corner

Undo revision 3718596 by Bandana Hewer Dee (talk) BDSP was also intended to be a faithful remake and brought back many previously retired features, as well as featured code copied verbatim from the original DP source code. It's not a stretch that they would include it in BDSP for posterity, but remove it from future IP.

→Generation III: ruby allows spreading and contracting to happen at the same time. pokemon_3.c line 833 seems to also exclude eggs contracting it (but I guess it can still spread to them); I haven't documented this since I don't know the details/if this is generation specific
