Pokédex 3D is a Nintendo 3DS app available for free from the eShop. The app is an Unova Pokédex, featuring Pokémon from Pokémon Black and White Versions. Once downloaded, players are able to look through 16 different Pokémon; more can be unlocked through three different methods: QR codes, SpotPass, and trading. Players can scan QR codes, likely to be distributed online and at events, to unlock Pokémon, get three random Pokémon per day via SpotPass, or trade information with others.

The 3D aspect of the game allows players to view 3D renderings of each Pokémon, and rotate them 360 degrees. These renderings can be used with the 3DS's built-in camera and Augmented Reality to place Pokémon in real world environments.

The app has a search feature, and players can add Pokémon to a favorites list. Basic Pokédex functions are also available, including Pokémon stats, height, weight, and footprints.
