Poison Point (Japanese: どくのトゲ Poison Thorn) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Eleven Pokémon can have this ability.

When Pokémon with Poison Point is hit by a a move that makes contact, there is a 30% chance that the attacking foe will become poisoned.

Outside of battle

Poison Point has no effect outside of battle.
