Release information

Released as part of the promotional World Collection, this card was printed in nine different languages: English, Italian, Korean, Spanish, Japanese, German, French, Polish, and Portuguese. It was originally released in Japan on July 8, 2010 as part of the Pikachu World collection. 7-11 stores in Japan sold an exclusive Pikachu World that included an alternate Japanese print with a green background instead of blue. It was subsequently released as the World Collection in English in November 2010.

Trivia

  • Many of the illustrations take inspiration from aspects of the respective language's country, such as the English, French, Italian, Polish, and Portuguese prints using colors of the countries' flags; additionally, the flowers on the Italian and Polish cards are actually arranged into the patterns on their respective flags.
  • The English release keeps the same collection symbol as the Japanese Pikachu World release, despite the name change.
