Once during your turn (before your attack), if Pichu is anywhere under Pikachu, you may search your discard pile for a Energy card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. This power can't be used if Pikachu is affected by a Special Condition.

This card was originally released in the Mysterious Treasures expansion with artwork by Sumiyoshi Kizuki. A promotional parallel foil variant with a "Diamond & Pearl" stamp was released as part of a Burger King promotion in July 2008. In Japan, a holographic promotional version of this print was released as part of the DP Card Exchange campaign in July 2007.
This card was reprinted as one of the DP Black Star Promos with different artwork by the same artist. It was released in November 2007 in Secret Wonders Promotional Packs. The Japanese version was released in the Rampardos the Attacker half deck. A holographic promotional version with a silver snowflake stamp was one of 24 cards released in the Pokémon Countdown Calendar in October 2008. In Japan, a holographic promotional version of this print was awarded as a prize for competing in the Entry and One Day Battles at the Summer 2007 Battle Road.
The illustrations on both versions of the card portray the same scene, but from different angles.
The special variant from the Pokémon Countdown Calendar was featured as the card for Christmas Eve, and as such, differs from the other cards in the calendar by having a holographic treatment and a silver snowflake stamp instead of a gold one.
