Stopping Sableye (Japanese: VS ヤミラミVS Sableye), titled VS Sableye in the Chuang Yi translation, is the 395th chapter of the Pokémon Adventures manga, and the 58th chapter of the Diamond & Pearl arc. It is subtitled Lake Acuity and Jupiter (Japanese: エイチ湖とジュピターEichi Lake and Jupiter) in the VIZ Media translation and Lake Acuity and Jupiter in the Chuang Yi translation.
Meanwhile, Diamond has arrived in Twinleaf Town. He heads to his house, with Roseanne and Sebastian following him. When he enteres, he remembers his mother's happy reaction to his prize trip to Mt. Coronet. Diamond goes into his room and finds a new jacket along with a note that his mother left him. He puts on the jacket and reads the note. According to the note, his mother was at Lake Verity, a great lake where Team Galactic will drop its bomb and capture one of the Lake Guardians. Shocked, Diamond throws off his jacket and rushes out the door, in a hurry to warn his mother about the upcoming disaster.
Meanwhile, Platinum, Maylene, and Candice travel across the snowy mountains in order to reach Lake Acuity. Candice calls out her Abomasnow and has it to use Rock Climb to help them get over a mountain. Platinum talks about the time when her father said she went to the lake when she was little. The three of them arrive at Lake Acuity shortly afterwards.
Suddenly, a Sableye appears and attacks Maylene's Riolu with Shadow Sneak. Then a Gastrodon comes up and traps Candice in a Mud Bomb. Candice realizes that the two Pokémon are actually trained and not from the wild. Then Jupiter reveals herself as the trainer of the Sableye and the Gastrodon.
