The league began with an invitation on the [http://foros.atomix.vg/ Atomix magazine forums] and soon after that some people were interested and ''Pokemasters'' was created as a clan, but most of the members were from different cities, so a lot of them had to drop out because the [[Generation III]] games didn't have online play, and it would be difficult to play between members.
