In EP215, a trainer in the Whirl Islands tried to get one of his Remoraid to evolve.

In AG021, Ash and co. were fishing and found an Octillery, which landed on Max's head.

In AG160, Harley's Octillery made its anime debut, defeating May's Munchlax.
