Mr. Saridakis (Japanese: ナミダバシ Namidabashi) is a character of the day who appeared in On Olden Pond. He heads the property development company Saridakis Industries.
After a traumatic childhood experience where he almost drowned in a lake while fishing, Mr. Saridakis became determined to buy that lake and build Leisure Land, an amusement park and spa complex, over it. However, Tiffany, who owns a boathouse with her grandmother Galea on the lake's edge at the side, refused to sell their property, so he used his Crawdaunt to scare away all the Pokémon and the people who come there to fish.
Ash challenged Mr. Saridakis to a battle to decide the fate of the lake. Ash used his Corphish, while Mr. Saridakis used Crawdaunt. Team Rocket interfered the battle, however, and stole Crawdaunt. During his attempt to save his Crawdaunt, Mr. Saridakis was knocked into the lake, until he was saved by Galea and a Dragonair, which lives in the lake. He realized that it was Galea and Dragonair that saved him all those years ago, and in gratitude, he decided to cancel his plans.

On hand
Crawdaunt is Mr. Saridakis's only known Pokémon. During its time in a lake in Kanto, it scared all the customers away from the once famous fishing spot. Consequently, Tiffany and Galea's fishing business suffered without the passing trade.
In On Olden Pond, Ash hooked Crawdaunt while he and his friends were fishing in the area. Crawdaunt took on and defeated Corphish, destroying Ash's and his friends' rods in the process. Later, the group and Tiffany soon learned that the Rogue Pokémon belonged to Mr. Saridakis, who wanted to buy the lake to build an amusement park and spa complex called Leisure Land. Ash challenged him to a battle using Corphish to decide the fate of the lake. Corphish was able to get the upper hand due to the training it had with Galea's Vaporeon earlier. Team Rocket came by and interrupted their battle by stealing Crawdaunt and Ash's Pikachu, only to get defeated by May's Squirtle's newly learned Rapid Spin. After Mr. Saridakis was rescued by a Dragonair living there, he canceled the battle between Corphish and Crawdaunt. Crawdaunt's known moves are Vise Grip, Bubble Beam, and Crabhammer.

Befriended
Dragonair usually resides in the lake that Mr. Saridakis fished in during his youth. One day, he fell in and Dragonair saved him. However, the near drowning experience led Mr. Saridakis to become bitter, and he became determined to redevelop the lake to clean it up. However, he was sent hurting into the water once again after Team Rocket's mecha crash landed into the lake, and the same Dragonair rescued him once more. The recent encounter with Dragonair triggered Saridakis' memory and he immediately cancelled his development plans to protect his savior, Dragonair.
None of Dragonair's moves are known.
