(Japanese: ミカエル Michael) is a recurring character of the Pokémon anime. He first appeared in BW103, where he participated in the Vertress Conference and was Bianca's first opponent. However, in BW104 he was defeated by her and eliminated from the tournament.

		Watchog is the only Pokémon Michael is known to have on hand. It was used in the first round of the Vertress Conference against Bianca's Emboar. In BW104 it was defeated by him however. Watchog's known moves are Hidden Power, Tackle and Crunch.
