Metal Sound (Japanese: きんぞくおん Metal Sound) is a non-damaging Steel-type move introduced in Generation III.

Effect

Metal Sound lowers the target's Special Defense by two stages. Pokémon with the Ability Soundproof are not affected by this move.

If powered up by a Steelium Z into Z-Metal Sound, the user's Special Attack raises one stage.

  The two horns on Aggron's head starts to glow white and they move back and forth quickly, causing a loud ringing sound to be released. The horns then release light blue sound waves from them at the opponent, lowering their special defense. Any Pokémon that hears the sound gets a loud ringing sound that echoes in their ears as well.
