*The attack text for the English release of this card was slightly altered from its Japanese version, as it was considered too vague. The English {{Card GB}} version of the card still contains the original Japanese translation, as it was created before [[Wizards of the Coast]] produced the card.
*All prints of this card feature a "GB" symbol, referencing its ties to the Game Boy title. It is in the same position as an expansion symbol on the Japanese ''CoroCoro'' print. On the English print and its Japanese replica, it is in the bottom right corner of the artwork due to the presence of the Black Star Promo symbol. This is the only Game Boy-related card to feature the "GB" symbol outside Japan.
**Additionally, the English print of the card nudges the HP over a bit farther to the left than normal.
*Meowth's level on the physical card is listed as LV.13 although it is LV.14 in {{vg|Pokémon Trading Card Game}}. In [[Pokémon Trading Card Game 2: The Invasion of Team GR!|the sequel]], the level matches the promo card in-game as LV.13.
*The card displays a 'GB' symbol in the bottom right corner of the artwork, indicating it was originally created exclusively for the Game Boy.
*Meowth's level on the card is listed as Lv. 13 although it is Lv. 14 in the game.

Trivia

  • All prints of this card feature a "GB" symbol, referencing its ties to the Game Boy title. It is in the same position as an expansion symbol on the Japanese CoroCoro print. On the English print and its Japanese replica, it is in the bottom right corner of the artwork due to the presence of the Black Star Promo symbol. This is the only Game Boy-related card to feature the "GB" symbol outside Japan.
  • Meowth's level on the physical card is listed as LV.13 although it is LV.14 in Pokémon Trading Card Game. In the sequel, the level matches the promo card in-game as LV.13.

Origin

This card's physical Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue. The in-game English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Yellow, while the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Blue; both are slightly reworded.
