Azurilland Wiki (formerly Marriland Wiki) was a Pokémon-centered wiki hosted by Gamepedia, now owned by FANDOM.

History

Azurilland Wiki credits its history to its start as Pokémon Wiki, which was founded on January 2005 on the wikifarm Fandom (formerly Wikia) by Jellochuu. Years later, on June 11, 2012, Pokémon Wiki started a discussion on moving from Fandom to a different hosting site. After two months of discussion, the new wiki, called Marriland Wiki, was finished on August 14, 2012. The wiki was hosted on Curse's own Gamepedia service and was a sister wiki to the Marriland Forums. The creation of the new wiki lead to another Pokémon-centered wiki being formed.

On October 15, 2015, Marriland announced to end his involvement with Curse and the wiki's name was changed to Azurilland Wiki in 2016, alongside the renaming of Marriland Forums to Azurilland Forums.^[1]

Fandom would soon acquire Gamepedia in December 12, 2018, bringing Azurilland Wiki back under ownership with its former owner. In 2019 Azurilland.com was no longer redirected to Marriland but Pokémon Wiki. Azurilland was archived as of November 30, 2020, having been merged once more with Pokémon Wiki and with the main page encouraging readers and editors to move to Pokémon Wiki instead.
