This card was released in the English Rising Rivals expansion, first originating from the Gallade Half Deck of the Japanese Infernape vs Gallade SP Deck Kit. A special Crosshatch Holofoil print of the English card was awarded as a Player Reward to players who successfully reached Tier Two of the 2009-2010 season.
