Once he realized this they started to attack him, but the player, and partner appear, and it becomes 3 on 2 until they call their goons and it becomes 6 on 3. Virizion, Emolga, Gurdurr, and The Timburr Bros. appear and they all battle. The Pawniard Brothers lose and flee.

It is later revealed that they work with Munna, Kyurem, and the Bittercold. Like Munna, they also change their minds about the world's destruction and cheer on the player during the final battle.
