Kyle (Japanese: カイト Kaito) is a Pokémon Coordinator that appeared in the Wallace Cup in episodes Staging a Heroes Welcome! through Strategy With A Smile!. His Japanese voice actor is 野島裕史 Hirofumi Nojima and his English voice actor is Jamie McGonnigal.
Kyle battled both Ash Ketchum and Dawn. He managed to defeat Ash, but lost to Dawn in the next round. He was also shown to be rather arrogant during his battle with Ash when he criticized Ash for sticking with Buizel in the Contest Battles and calling him predictable since he'd seen what Ash and Buizel can do. He was proven wrong when Ash and Buizel perfected the Template:Type2 Aqua Jet that Dawn failed to perfect herself in an earlier episode, though the accomplishment was a hollow victory because Kyle won the battle due to having more points when time ran out.
