Iron Fist (Japanese: てつのこぶし Iron Fist) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV. Prior to Generation V, it was the signature Ability of Hitmonchan.

Trivia

  • Despite having its power increased by Iron Fist, Meteor Mash cannot be learned by any Pokémon who can naturally have this Ability.
  • To have Iron Fist and Dynamic Punch at the same time, Hitmonchan must learn Dynamic Punch from the Move Tutor in Pokémon Emerald then use an Ability Capsule in Generation VI.
  • The power of Sucker Punch is not increased by Iron Fist, since it is called 「ふいうち」 Surprise Attack in Japanese.
