Iron Fist (Japanese: てつのこぶし Iron Fist) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Ten Pokémon can have this ability. In Generation IV, it was Hitmonchan's signature ability.

Trivia

• Despite having its power boosted by Iron Fist, Meteor Mash cannot be learned by any Pokémon who can naturally have this ability.
  • However, Hitmonchan can be taught Metronome and Mimic in Pokémon FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald and occasionally use Meteor Mash with it.
• Sucker Punch is not boosted by Iron Fist, since it is originally ふいうち (Surprise Attack) in Japanese.
  • Similarly, Meteor Mash is boosted because it is known as コメットパンチ (Comet Punch) in Japanese, while Comet Punch is called れんぞくパンチ (Consecutive Punch).
