Guts (Japanese: こんじょう Guts) is an Ability introduced in Generation III.

Effect

Reason: If a frozen Pokémon uses a move like Flame Wheel, will it get the Attack increase?

While the Pokémon with this Ability has a status condition, its Attack is increased by 50%. The Pokémon with this Ability does not lose Attack due to burn.

Outside of battle

Guts has no effect outside of battle.

Mystery Dungeon series

A Pokémon with this Ability will gain a 100% bonus to physical attack the turn after being inflicted with a major status affliction. If a second status affliction is added or replaces the original affliction, this Ability will not activate.
