Groudon is obtainable as a [[Poké Ball]] Pokémon. Due to its tremendous size, it takes up a lot of the stage, making its attack almost inescapable. It uses {{m|Overheat}} to immolate itself in a fiery aura, causing anyone who comes into contact with it to be set on fire and sent flying.
Groudon is obtainable as a [[Poké Ball]] Pokémon. Due to its tremendous size, it takes up a lot of the stage, making its attack almost inescapable. It uses {{m|Overheat}} to immolate itself in a fiery aura, causing anyone (except the summoner) who comes into contact with it to receive damage and knockback. Its attack is similar to that of {{p|Moltres}}, except that Groudon is much larger and lasts longer. On the downside, Groudon's attack is significantly weaker than Moltres', as it deals much lower damage and knockback; making it very hard to KO an opponent until they reach very high damage percents. Because of its poor damage and inability to KO, many professional players consider Groudon to be one of the least effective Pokémon in the game.
