In Japan, this card was one of five that could be obtained through the Communication Evolution campaign, which began in April 1999. Participants had to send a Graveler card along with Bill's PC in the mail to MediaFactory. MediaFactory would then send back the 'evolved' form.
- Although the vending machine cards were all printed on glossy card stock, the Masaki promos were all printed on regular card stock.
Rollout and Rock Blast are both moves in the Pokémon games that Golem can learn, though Rollout did not appear as a move until Generation II and Rock Blast until Generation III. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Blue.
