Goh's Misdreavus (Japanese: ゴウムウマ Go's Muma) is the second Pokémon that Goh caught in the Johto region, and his eighteenth overall.

History

In Finding a Legend!, Goh first encountered Misdreavus whilst climbing up the Bell Tower, where it along with Stantler attacked Goh, Ash, Kurio, and Jiei at the Bell Tower, where they trapped them in a series of illusions. Misdreavus was eventually caught when the illusions were dispelled when Jiei's Hoothoot used Foresight.

During a food shortage in JN023, it and Sandile tried tricking the other Pokémon into giving up their food. When a group led by Scyther came looking for a fight, Misdreavus and Sandile immediately joined their side. It later helped protect Goh's three Cascoon from a flood created when Goh's Golurk went berserk, thus allowing them to evolve into Dustox.

Personality and characteristics

Misdreavus is shown to like causing pranks, as seen in JN009, when along with Stantler, it created illusions to try and stop Goh, Ash, Kurio, and Jiei from climbing the Bell Tower. Misdreavus is shown to be clever and manipulative, as seen in JN023, when it teamed up with Sandile to appear strong to the other Pokémon so they could trick them into giving up their own food. However, Misdreavus is quick to change sides, as seen when a group of Pokémon led by Scyther came looking for a fight.
