The Genesect Army (Japanese: ゲノセクト一軍 Genesect Army) is a team composed by five Genesect; four normal colored and one Shiny, who leads them. The Shiny Genesect is known as "Red Genesect" (Japanese: 赤いゲノセクト)

History

An image of a Genesect was seen by N on a computer monitor in the ruins of the P2 Laboratory in The Name's N!.

In BW117, the Genesect Army was mentioned only as "Project G", and its current whereabouts were considered unknown by the Plasma Grunt reporting to Ghetsis.

In BW119, N visited a ruined building, where he found a Patrat and Watchog. When he heard their voices, he experienced a flashback in which he realized the Genesect Army had destroyed the building before flying away.

The Genesect Army is set to have a starring role in M16. In the film, they will appear in New Tork City and battle against Mewtwo.

In the manga

The Genesect Army appears in the manga adaptation of the film.
