==Plot==
Ginji is on a lounge chair at the beach having a drink in a pleasant paradise... when Mudkip wakes him up. The cold weather of the [[Frosty Forest]] is making him fall asleep. They feel rumbling in the ground and smoke in the distance, and they dash to the smoke to find an {{p|Absol}} standing there. They try to run, but Absol jumps in their way. It then notices the X-shaped scar on Ginji's forehead and backs away. Mudkip asks what's wrong. Absol heard rumors that Ginji was an ultra-evil Pokémon that will destroy the world and eat it. They then explain that it was a complete lie and that he was falsely accused. Absol says that it has also been falsely accused of causing the natural disasters.

They continue and on, and Absol leaves. They look over a cliff and find a large blue bird with a long tail. It's {{p|Articuno}}. Mudkip gets scared and falls off the cliff. Articuno swiftly flies down and catches Mudkip. Articuno asks Ginji if he is a human cursed by {{p|Ninetales}}. Ginji says he does not know. Articuno says that it won't let them pass unless they have a real answer, and Ginji says that the reason they are passing is so he can find the answer. Articuno lets him use his strong will to [[Pokémon battle|defeat]] it so he can pass.

Articuno starts off with {{m|Blizzard}}. Mudkip gets stuck in ice pillars as Ginji is {{status|frozen}}. Articuno then attacks again. Absol sees this and helps Ginji. Articuno thinks that Ginji will destroy the world, but Absol explains that it was all a lie and that a bigger power is causing all the natural disasters. That does not convince Articuno to let them pass, but it says that they should figure out more about it. [[Team Meanies|Gengar]], who is watching nearby, finds a Gravelerock and intentionally causes an avalanche.

Articuno freezes the avalanche with {{m|Sheer Cold}}. It tells them that they have great power and that they should go on ahead and find Ninetales. They say goodbye to Absol and Articuno and continue on the journey.
