Floatzel (Pokémon): Difference between revisions

Floatzel appears to be based off of an otter or weasel, with two pointed blue fins on its arms and two tails, as with its pre-evolution, Buizel. The yellow flotation device it had as a Buizel appears to have grown and now functions as a boat. It gives the impression of a swimmer with a towel draped around its shoulders. If Floatzel laid on its back, the structure round its neck could also be interpreted as a sort of inflatable dinghy using its tails much like its pre-evolution, as a propeller and its fins as oars. These small fins on Buizel's forelimbs grown into fully-fledged fins that are used for {{m|Razor Wind}} attacks.

From back view, the males have two white spots and the females only have one.

Floatzel's abilities are basically the same as Buizel's, only stronger. Floatzel can now attack with {{m|Crunch}} and {{m|Ice Fang}}.  As a fully evolved Pokémon, it can learn {{m|Hyper Beam}} and {{m|Giga Impact}}. Its floatation sac can inflate to look like a {{wp|life vest}}, in a similar way Buizel can expand its sac, as seen in [[DP083]].

It might be a fish-eater, but it's unknown if it's true. However, it's occasionally found with the {{b|Wacan}}.
