Flame Charge (Japanese: ニトロチャージ Nitro Charge) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation V. It was TM43 from Generation V to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. It is TM038 in Generation IX.

Effect

Flame Charge inflicts damage and raises the user's Speed by one stage.

Pokémon UNITE

In Pokémon UNITE, Flame Charge is Talonflame's first move and Cinderace's second move.

Talonflame can obtain it by evolving into Fletchinder at level 5 and replacing Peck with it instead of Aerial Ace. The user dashes forward, damaging enemies in its path. The user gains a speed boost after the dash. At level 11, for a short time after this move hits, the user's abilities and basic attacks partially ignore the enemies Defense for the next 3s (capped at 0) and enemies hit are slowed by 30% for 5s.

Cinderace can obtain it by reaching level 8 and replacing Low Sweep with it instead of Feint. The user charges forward, damaging all enemies hit. At level 13, the next boosted attack after this move ends also slows enemies hit for a short time.

  Pignite repeatedly stomps on the ground until a cloud of dust covers its body. Then, it emerges from the cloud while surrounded by an orb of red-yellow flames and crashes into the opponent, or Pignite's body becomes covered in flames and it crashes into the opponent. Sometimes, Pignite will be surrounded by a spiral of flames before using the attack.
