Five Isle Meadow (Japanese: 5のしま あきち Island 5 Field) is a short route just outside the town of Five Island, which holds Team Rocket's last base in FireRed and LeafGreen, and is the place where the player retrieves the Sapphire after it is stolen by Gideon at the Dotted Hole.

Route description

Within Five Isle Meadow, there is a large building: Team Rocket's Sevii Island stronghold. These Rockets are the last ones players face, as they didn't receive news of Giovanni's disbanding of Team Rocket. By the way they act, this group seems to be predecessors to the Team Rocket that returned in Generation II to terrorize Johto.

The route starts on the coast of Five Island, going onto a grassy path around a patch of trees, which then turns southward and leads the player to the southernmost point on Chrono Island. From there, they can either turn northward and approach the Rocket Warehouse, or go east to Memorial Pillar. Inside the meadow there items that can be obtained with the use of Cut.

The first thing veteran players may notice about this route is that like the city next to it, it uses music first found in Johto, on Routes 42, 43, 44, and the Lake of Rage.

Trivia

  • A man in Five Island says that the Meadow has belonged to his family for many generations and is unhappy that Team Rocket is using it for their Hideout.
