Major cards Empoleon, Claydol, Dusknoir

Empotech is the name of the deck used by Dylan Lefavour, the Senior Division Champion in the 2008 World Championships. The deck focuses predominantly on Water Pokémon, specifically Empoleon. Lefavour's strategy involved spreading damage around, so that he could Knock Out his opponents Pokémon easily. Claydol was also relied upon to keep his hand full of cards.

Empotech is one of the four 2008 World Championships Decks, released on November 5, 2008. Each deck comes packaged with a 2008 World Championships Booklet. Each card features a silver border, Lefavour's signature, and limited edition 2008 World Championships back. None of the cards are tournament legal.

Description

Dylan Lefavour's Empotech deck was designed with one goal in mind: spread as much damage around his opponent's Pokémon as possible, making it easy to Knock Out one or more Pokémon at will. With Empoleon passing out damage like candy and cards like Claydol helping to keep his hand full, it's easy to see how Dylan was able to capture the title of Senior Division World Champion!
