Emmanuel (Japanese: イブシ Ibushi) is a minor recurring character in the Pokémon anime.

History

Emmanuel debuted in Reunion Battles In Nimbasa!, where he participated in the Club Battle tournament. He played a small role in the episode, where he battled Antonio's Tranquill using his Scolipede in the first round. He was defeated by Antonio and got eliminated afterwards.

In Curtain Up, Unova League!, Emmanuel competed in the Vertress Conference. In Mission: Defeat Your Rival!, he appeared on the screen showing the match-ups for the second round of the Conference, meaning that he had made it through the first round. When the screens showed the match-ups for the last sixteen in Lost at the League!, Emmanuel did not appear on it, meaning he had either lost in the second round or the third round. In A Unova League Evolution!, he appeared once again during the closing ceremonies of the Vertress Conference.

		Scolipede first appeared in Reunion Battles In Nimbasa!. It battled Antonio's Tranquill and lost. Scolipede's only known move is Poison Sting.
