Dark Dragonair (Japanese: わるいハクリュー Bad Hakuryu) is a Colorless-type Stage 1 Pokémon card. It is part of the Team Rocket expansion.

Card text

Pokémon Power:
Evolutionary Light
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your deck for an Evolution card. Show it to your opponent and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. This power can't be used if Dark Dragonair is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
Tail Strike
Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 damage plus 20 more damage; if tails, this attack does 20 damage.

Release information

This card was first released in the Team Rocket expansion, originating from the Japanese Rocket Gang expansion. It was later reprinted in English in the Legendary Collection expansion.


Although this Pokémon is level 28, Dratini does not evolve into Dragonair until level 30.
