Clemont's Dedenne: Difference between revisions

In [[XY011|The Bamboozling Forest!]], it used its ability to detect electricity from Pikachu to find him, {{AP|Froakie}}, {{TP|Serena|Fennekin}}, and {{TP|Clemont|Chespin}} when the four were separated from their Trainers.

In [[XY012|To Catch a Pokémon Monster!]], {{an|Serena}} gave it a {{p|Spewpa}} disguise to use as bait for [[Daz]], a [[Pokémon poacher|Pokémon buyer]] that the group was trying to take down. However, it proved too small to pass for a Spewpa, so Chespin was volunteered instead.

It was made clear in its very first appearance that Dedenne is a gluttonous Pokémon. In ''[[XY003|A Battle of Aerial Mobility!]]'', its desire for a berry was strong enough that it was willing to fight Pikachu over it, and it only approached Bonnie because she had the berry in her hand. It reappeared to the group in ''[[XY004|A Shockingly Cheeky Friendship!]]'' to steal food.  Dedenne is also a bit timid, as shown in its debut when it got scared off by Fletchling swooping in. In ''[[XY004|A Shockingly Cheeky Friendship!]]'', Dedenne develops a sibling relationship with Pikachu, whom it looks up to and is impressed by, and it also becomes close to Bonnie, as it is often seen in either her hair or satchel. Dedenne is also prone to sleep at the most inconvenient times, such as when it slept during attacks by {{TRT}} in [[XY008]] and [[XY010]].
