Charm (Japanese: あまえる Spoiled Pout) is a non-damaging Fairy-type move introduced in Generation II. Prior to Generation VI, it was a Normal-type move.

Effect

Generation II to V

Charm is a Normal-type move. It lowers the Attack stat of the target by two stages.

Generation VI

Charm is now a Fairy-type move. Its effects remain the same.

GSC Sharply lowers the foe's Attack.
RSE Charms the foe and sharply reduces its Attack.
FRLG The foe is charmed by the user's cute appeals, sharply cutting its Attack.
ColoXD Charms the target, sharply reducing its Attack.
DPPtHGSS The user charmingly stares at the foe, making it less wary. The target's Attack is sharply lowered.
BWB2W2 The user gazes at the target rather charmingly, making it less wary. The target's Attack is harshly lowered.
XYORAS The user gazes at the target rather charmingly, making it less wary. This harshly lowers its Attack stat.
